The city of Mumbai will be soon be seen glistening and dazzling as some of the biggest international designers in the global fashion industry come together for the first time at Signature International Fashion Weekend, from November 15th- November 17th.

Sonam Kapoor, recently voted as the most stylish woman by Cosmopolitan, is the brand ambassador for Signature International Fashion Weekend. Sonam is featuring in the latest SIFW commercial with styling done by Rhea Kapoor and directed by Karan Boolani.

SIFW will showcase designs of International designers such a Micha Barton, Mark Fast, Bora Aksu, Cute Circuit for the first time in India and Indian designers known world over such as Falguni & Shane Peacock and Drashta. These designs will be showcased by some of the leading glamorous international celebrities such as Carmen Electra, Irina Shayk, Nargis Fakri and Jacqueline Fernandez as they set the ramp ablaze.

As the God of cricket Sachin Tendukar announced his retirement from this craze of a game called Cricket, celebs from Bollywood and the Sports field came together for a Salute Sachin Marathon. Abhishek Bachchan and Sania Mirza were two of the celebs who attended this marathon.

Sania Mirza heaped praise on the batting great and said that life won't be same without Sachin Tendulkar.

"There will be people who will keep the legacy of Indian cricket but it will never be the same without Sachin. As athletes, we have grown up with his presence," said Sania.

Ajay Devgn and Kajol along with Nita Ambani were seen with Prince Charles and Camilla at a reception for the British Asian Trust. Prince Charles and wife Camilla were in India to launch the British Asian Trust Advisory Council in Mumbai on 9th November.

The trust funds high impact charities within the areas of education, health and livelihoods in Bangladesh, India, Pakistan and Sri Lanka. Mukesh Ambani was appointed chairman of the trust's India Advisory Council earlier this year at an event at Windsor Castle.

Through this trust, they hope to persuade wealthy Indian tycoons to support charities aimed at reviving India's ailing cities. By gathering support from the country's millionaires, they plan to have the super rich give back more to their societies.

This event was hosted by Mukesh Ambani and Ratan Tata.
