Mushrooms Prevent Diabetes

Mushrooms can provide additional protection from diabetes.

Mushrooms are rich in vitamin D, and in order to preserve their healthy qualities, one should not peel mushrooms. It would be enough just to leave them in the sun for 30 minutes before you start cooking. According to Dr. Michael Holick (USA), this time will be enough for the mushrooms to start rapidly producing vitamin D under the influence of ultraviolet rays (it was found out that it is produced in the body of the mushroom even after it is picked).

Vitamin D helps to significantly reduce the risk of cancer, heart disease, diabetes, asthma, depression, and even get rid of excess weight. It is also useful in the prevention of cancer, as well as for the absorption of calcium from food, so scientists recommend following the advice and leaving the mushrooms in the sun.
